SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CENTRES

1714. SHRI VIKRAMBHAI ARJANBHAI MADAM:

Will the Minister of SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Union Government proposes to set up science and technology education centre at district level in the country including Gujarat;

(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise;

(c) the time by when such centres are likely to be set up in the country ; and

(d) if not , the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d): There is no proposal in the Department of Science & Technology to set up science and technology education centres at district level in the country.
