Department of Science and Technology (DST) setup an exhibition atVigyanBhawan on 11th May, 2018 on “Technology and Swachh Bharat” as part of National Technology Day Celebration. Hon'ble Union Minister for Science & Technology, Dr.Harshvardhaninaugurated National Technology Day exhibition at VigyanBhawan on May 11, 2018 in New Delhi, India.

DST demonstrated eight working models and posters to the Students and visitors'. This presented an opportunity to the students & visitors to get to know and understand the country’s achievements in clean energy. Models such as “Shallow emitter silicon solar cell and modules process technology, Surya Jyoti – Micro Solar Dome, Hybrid Solar-Biomass Power Plant, Solar Inverter, JalKalp, Passive Ambient Air Purifier System and Water purifier” were exhibited in VigyanBhawan as a part of National Technology Day Celebration.
