In the year 2019-20, a program ‘Vigyan Jyoti’ was launched to encourage meritorious girls to pursue higher education and careers in the underrepresented areas of STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics). The objective is to sustain the talent pool in S &T by encouraging more girls to enter these fields. The program includes a variety of year-round activities designed to motivate and provide additional academic support to girls. 
The Department of Science and Technology invites “Expressions of Interest” from experienced and reputed organizations/agencies (government/private) to conduct an impartial impact assessment of the Vigyan Jyoti program. The organization/agency should have at least 5 years of experience and a good track record in the area of impact assessment.
The detailed information and prescribed format of EoI are available at e-PMS (onlinedst.gov.in) under the WISE-KIRAN Division. The duly filled EoI should be submitted at e-PMS and a copy may also be sent to enquiry-wosdst[at]gov[dot]in by 31 May 2024.
